Communications Specialist for PHI's Bridge program. Bridge funds and supports providers to build on our country’s guarantee of 24/7 emergency care to offer treatment where people are, promote equity, and connect patients to ongoing care.• Develop and implement communications strategies to increase program visibility, engagement, and advocacy• Create and edit compelling clinical, patient, and public-facing content across various channels (e.g., social media, email, and web) to promote clinical resources, trainings, and other Bridge priorities (i.e., sustainability, DEI, etc.)• Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure integration of Bridge communications goals• Maintain program website front-end and back-end to reflect program updates and ensure user-friendly site navigation

• Strategize with clientele to produce high-quality media pieces to be distributed on social media platforms and brand sites • Utilize editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to produce professional grade promotional video• Filmed and produced videos with DSLRs for a wide array of clients, reaching a total of 40,000 views on Instagram

• Assist in the management of the website and email communications of a world-renowned university art museum and film center, administering content and ticketing for approximately 500 events per year.• Develop online content for the museum to promote new exhibits and events, in addition to utilizing content-management systems to ensure content is uploaded in optimal conditions.

PCN at UC Berkeley is the longest running cultural show on campus. It's also the second longest running Pilipino Cultural Night in the United States. The goal of PCN is to showcase Filipino narratives, culture, and art via a musical production that happens in Zellerbach Hall. As a Co-Producer, I oversaw the entire process from working with Zellerbach staff, recruiting my very own creative team, ensuring the wellness of the 100+ member cast, and overall making sure that the community has a strong sense of being and appreciation for this cultural movement. As the first show back on the Zellerbach stage in 3 years following the COVID-19 pandemic, I was also tasked with bridging the knowledge gap from losing vital information from being passed down to us. Responsibilities included:• Interviewed and recruited a 20+ member Creative Team to assist with logistical and creative aspects of a $32,000 cultural production, managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion.• Set and met 93% goal deadlines while ensuring Creative Team were properly resourced, handling approx. 100+ member production cast despite a timeline shortened by 20 days, limited staff, and restricted funding.• Managed all logistical aspects of the process including but not limited to the financial sustainability of the program, fostering relationships with the performance venue, sponsors and donors, and securing spaces for practices and weekly meetings.

In the ongoing attempt to serve and interact with the Pilipinx community, the Pilipinx American Alliance stands to promote a network of social support through the encouragement of political struggle, academic excellence, and cultural awareness while celebrating cultural diversity. Responsibilities in this role included:• Developed and promoted Pilipinx and Pilipinx-American political awareness and historical literacy within the community through a digital marketing campaign via social media during Pilipinx History Month that saw a 60% increase in engagement with the organization's Instagram and Facebook pages• Coordinated and facilitated Sproul Visibility Day, a day-long celebration of Pilipinx/Pilipinx-American culture on UC Berkeley's campus which consisted of live performances, speakers, and cultural presentations• Curated and preserved the 50+ year archive of PAA, Pilipinx, and Pilipinx-American hxstorical documents and artifacts• Encouraged and promoted Pilipinx and Pilipinx-American hxstory and cultural awareness of the community• Assisted the Chiefs of Staff with developing curriculum for the PAA associates program of 20+ students for each semester of the school year• Coordinated and facilitated programming surrounding Pilipinx or Pilipinx-American political issues in line with PAA’s current political stance

I assisted the elected ASUC Senator representing the Pilipinx community on campus with tasks relating to community relations. In particular, I planned and facilitated meetings between the Senator office and the various Pilipinx organizations on campus, East Asian and Southeast Asian student organizations.I also connected our office to outside organizations and people interested in connecting with the Berkeley Pilipinx community. In one instance, I helped organize an event between the 8 Pilipinx organizations on campus, SUPERB (an entertainment organization on our campus), and Redbull where the Filipino Bay Area rapper, P-Lo, hosted a short film screening and Q+A.
