Francisco Saenz is a Peruvian first-generation college senior studying for his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and Psychology at Trevecca Nazarene University and Belmont University. He currently serves as Secretary for the National Society of Leadership and Success club, the Treasurer for Commuter Council for his university, and the Treasurer for his universities FUTURO, an inclusive college-success professional-development nonprofit organization. Francisco has received accolades such as being an Equal Chance for Education Scholar and being the #1 FUTURO Select 100 point earner. In his professional career, he is passionate about communicating with patients, advocating for their rights and serving as a team member within his clinical team. Francisco has found interest in working with emergency care patients and those suffering from mental disorders throughout their clinical experience thus far. He is currently utilizing his analytical, communicative, and bilingual skills in working as a Nursing Scribe, continuing to pursue his passion and hone his nursing skills outside of the classroom. Francisco is interested in various areas of specialty and open to travel experiences to gain experience in working with different teams and further improve his skillsets. In his free time, Francisco enjoys hiking, playing his violin/cello, and cooking.
