Development of Master Thesis project entitled "Learning System for IC Security", concluded with a final grade of 19 out of 20. The project consists in an hardware implementation, in an FPGA, and modification of a novel security system based on Machine Learning, that tracks the activity of the JTAG and detect illegitimate accesses to the chip. The main focus of the work was the development of an on-chip classifier that was implemented with a random forest, an ensemble of decision trees. The hardware design was done in Verilog.
