Then, took over 50 racks in the same building and finally lead the project to build another 50 rack data center on-site.• Increased on-site storage from a single DAS server to multiple NetApp Filers hosting over a petabyte of data globally.• Replaced Cisco firewalls with a Palo Alto Networks equipment and created a multi-site worldwide network with standard Internet connections and IPSec tunnels to connect all Fungible sites.• Upgraded Cisco and Netgear 1 GB LAN equipment with Arista, Extreme and Juniper 10/25/40/100/200 GB switches in production and test/dev environments.• Created network address ranges and equipment naming schemes to start small and be flexible to scale up rapidly over time.• Designed, built, maintained, upgraded and expanded the first instance of Fungible storage equipment hosting production data, which became the "Dogfood" project.• The Dogfood environment was also used for "Customer Zero" operations to work through Engineering bugs along with Tech Support and escalated Engineering Support processes and flows.• Deployed, configured, tuned and maintained IBM LSF, the chip design team's batching and queuing system.• Maintained and upgraded Microsoft Active Directory and RedHat FreeIPA authentication systems and helped configure pass-through authentication for software that Engineering needed to secure.• Deployed hundreds of x86 servers running CentOS for production, chip design and test/dev functions.• Supported laptops, desktops, Zoom Rooms, Google apps, O365 apps and any other hardware or software issue that employees brought to our attention.
