In October 2019, I joinned Bioportugal as part of their technical team as a Field Service Engineer.From March until September 2019, I worked as a Research and Development Engineer at LIG-Nanowise, a company based in Manchester, UK, which produced the world's first super-resolution optical microscope.Given my interest in Health and in Engineering, I joined the Integrated master in Biomedical Engineering in the University of Minho, which I finished at the end of 2017.The first three years of studies consisted on development of knowledge on basic sciences, engineeringsciences, industrial and systems engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering,computer engineering, electronic engineering, and biological and chemical engineering. As for the fourth year of the program, I did a specialization on Medical Electronics and covered fields as Advanced Bioinstrumentation, Biosensors, Microelectronics, Robotics, Medical Applications of Ultrasounds,Analogue Integrated Circuits and Radiology/Nuclear Medicine.In my last year, I worked on my master thesis entitled "Simulation and fabrication of microlenses for implantable optical probes". This was realized as part of an Erasmus+ Program in the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) of the University of Freiburg, Germany. During the realization of my thesis, I had the chance of gaining practical experience with a lot of Microfabrication processes in a Cleanroom environment.After finishing my Master's program, I have done some voluntary work, having given English classes in a school in Cusco, Peru for a month and a half. Besides the classes, I was also helping on an orphanage of teenage mothers.I consider myself as being honest, truthful and friendly. I am a good team worker and possess good communication skills in Portuguese, English and in Spanish.
