Tasks: - Implementation of the new SNV strategy of 'capacity building' of local organisations in the SNV programme. - Management on content, personnel ( 75 of which 30 academics) and finances (€2 million/year) of the SNV/Tillabéry sub-programme consisting of 5 projects in basic health care, food supply, primary education and agriculture.- Establish and maintain contacts with local partners such as ministries, prefects and NGOs.

PADEB-Cotonou is an urban development project that intervenes in 4 districts by supporting women's, youth and community activities.Tasks:-Conception and refinement of intervention strategies of the project.-Negotiate funding for community activities such as construction of schools, markets and road improvements.-Establish and maintain cooperation with local authorities and other development organisations. -Manage staff (4 academics, 5 field workers and 4 support staff) and finances (200,000 Fl/year).-Support and supervise the 'for women by women' literacy and micro-credit programme consisting of volunteers.

PADEC-Gitarama is an integrated rural programme which intervenes in 5 municipalities. Tasks:-Develop and integrate a gender strategy (women and development) within the PADEC programme.-Develop participatory working methods to be used by project staff.-Training and mentoring 12 field workers.-Monitoring and evaluation of the impact of programme activities on the position of women.
