In close collaboration with Ministries of Health around the world and leading global health organizations, Resolve to Save Lives (RTSL) innovates and scales solutions to address today’s most urgent global health challenges - from preventing epidemics and advancing cardiovascular health to tackling emerging issues in environmental health. At RTSL, I lead a team dedicated to building transformative partnerships and mobilizing resources to support and expand our global initiatives. Together, with visionary partners, we are creating sustainable change that protects lives and builds healthier communities worldwide.

I led a team in charge of engaging the private sector in global health. We were mobilizing financial resources, expertise and capabilities from private foundations, multi-national corporations and innovative startups. We secured $100m+ in financial pledges for the Global Fund’s 6th and 7th Replenishments and $30m+ in the form of in-kind expertise and capabilities. We combined these resources with Global Fund's investments, in the form of large catalytic initiatives in strategic areas such as digital health transformation and health systems strengthening. Our partners included leading organizations like the Rockefeller Foundation, Anglo-American, Johnson & Johnson, the Abbott Fund, Coca-Cola, Orange and many others.

I founded CARE Enterprises Inc (CEI), a private company managing CARE USA’s investments in social enterprises. I developed CEI Board, led the management team and ensured key business development activities. I was representing CEI on the Board of investee companies and managing the relationships with them, including JITA, a joint venture between CEI and danone.communities in Bangladesh (network of 200 rural shops working with 3,000 vulnerable women working as sale agents), Live Well in Zambia, in partnership with GSK and Barclays, and Living Blue in Bangladesh.

I developed a pipeline of startups emerging from CARE's programs across 10+ countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America in sectors such as health & nutrition, agriculture, energy. I raised $4M+ in seed financing in the form of grants and equity investments, structured and negotiated the investment deals involving multi-sector partners.

I led CARE USA's engagement strategy with corporations including in the pharma, agri-business, extractive, retail and ICT sectors: developed the strategy; coordinated the decision-making process; managed strategic partnerships, including with Coca-Cola and Johnson & Johnson; provided guidance to CARE’s operations across the United States and the world on engagement with global Fortune 100 companies. I organized capacity building workshops and supported the CEO and executive team members on key engagements with the private sector, including the annual World Economic Forum.

I developed a new corporate engagement strategy, managed a team of corporate engagement officers and developed a completely new portfolio of poverty-focused CSR partnerships with companies including Lafarge, EDF, Sanofi-Aventis, on issues such as HIV/AIDS in the workplace, access to anti-malaria treatment; BoP approaches and resettlement & compensation programs. My team also managed and developed a large portfolio of corporate and foundation partners, including Carrefour, Veolia, Air France, Renault, Schneider Electric, World Aid Foundation, doubling the amount of resources raised within a short period of time.

I initiated new resource mobilization approaches for the organization: a program on poverty focused CSR partnerships; the creation of CARE France’s new website; designed and rolled out a membership recruitment campaign; and advised on the development of additional fundraising techniques, including street-fundraising.

I managed a portfolio of corporate and foundation partners and introduced a range of new fundraising techniques: created the first online fundraising module of the organization; launched regional fundraising in French local markets, managed the launch of a monthly giving campaign. I also led a large operation of convoys during the Kosovo emergency in 1998.
