I have been working in the Environmental field for 22 years. I have relevant and up-to-date educationin the field; in 2002 I earned my BA in Chemical Engineering, Specializing in Environment, from the University of Sherbrooke in Canada. My MA in Environmental Management was completed in October 2010, and I also successfully completed a graduate micro-program in Environmental Assessment, which has enabled me to perform environmental site assessments.In terms of professional achievements, I launched my career in Industrial Environmental Efficiency priorto moving horizontally (post Masters’ degree) to Environmental Management as Project Manager. I gained solid experience in planning and managing environmental site remediation projects. I also have strong abilities to manage teams as well as build relationships with clients and subcontractors. My interventions in numerous environmental emergencies following major oil spills have proven beyond any doubt my sense of duty, my leadership and my ability to work under pressure. Over the years, I have worked on many challenging projects as: - the remediation of a train derailment causing the spill of 6 million liters of crude oil; - the in-situ remediation of a deep water wharf after a 100,000 liters oil spill; - the environmental assessment and remediation of 5 airports in remote area of Canada; - the assessment and remediation of numerous industrials lands (Phase I, II and III);- carrying out environmental audits on industrial properties; - managing health and safety on most of my field projects; - responsible in requesting for tenders and supervising bidders.
