I have worked in various role ranging from Principal to Coordinator to teacher and i have realized that i am most passionate about experiential learning in whatever capacity i am working. I try ti incorporate this as much as possible into my teaching in the form of role play, games and authentic activities, as i believe it is such a powerful mechanism in aiding student development.I had six years experience with 1:1 Ipad and laptop programmes and feel that technology can be highly effective when blended with traditional teaching. I enjoy experimenting with various applications such as Quizlet, Edmodo and various Wikis and have augmented student learning outside the classroom using such digital technologies. As a Diploma teacher and CAS coordinator, i am committed to the philosophy of the IB and a great believer in the Learner Profile, which I use as a tool in the classroom to lever prompt development. I believe that each student must be challenged to become the best that he can be by providing them with experiences that will push their limits.I believe that my flexibility, creativity and sense of humour are my strength and I thrive under a leadership that sets clear guidelines and expectations, that fosters innovation and collaboration and invites different perspectives.
