About Franco Daniel Schischlo

Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires with a Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis.Throughout my academic journey, I have gathered experience in various programming languages:Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, Go, Clojure, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, Assembly x86, PostgreSQL, among others.Some of my projects can be found at:https://github.com/gdbienMy professional work revolved around the creation of a platform called "Canchero." This platform focuses on improving the reservation and management of tennis courts, promoting sports, benefiting both clubs and players. It exploits business opportunities that other solutions do not cover, such as challenges, player recommendations based on an Elo system implementation, and internal messaging.We utilized technologies like GraphQL, push notifications, a cloud-hosted microservices architecture (GCP), where each microservice communicates asynchronously via a message queue (Pub/Sub), among other technologies. Regarding programming languages, we used Go, Python, React, and Node. We followed software development best practices such as Scrum, XP, CI/CD, and incorporated Google Analytics for future measurement and visualization of customer usage and behavior.Outside of my professional life, I enjoy chess, occasionally immersing myself in others games. I've always had the desire to program one, so I hope to fulfill that soon :).

Development of a pothole detection application for a client.Data was collected using the built-in sensors of mobile phones through an existing Android application, and then sent to a server on Google Cloud, where it was analyzed (pothole characteristics), filtered, categorized (geo-referenced clustering, traffic determination) and summarized according to the client's criteria for subsequent statistical analysis.
