As a Biomedical Scientist at the Biomedical and Public Health Research Unit of CSIR- Water Research Institute and a Molecular Biological consultant at MDS Lancet Laboratories Ghana. I apply my strong background in molecular biology and infectious disease research to advance healthcare in Africa. I have six years of experience in medical lab science, performing a wide range of diagnostic tests and analyses, using cutting-edge techniques for DNA and RNA analysis, such as PCR, DNA sequencing, and gene expression analysis.I am passionate about investigating and understanding the mechanisms of infectious diseases like COVID-19, Schistosomiasis, Onchocerciasis, Malaria, Hepatitis B and HIV, and developing effective diagnostic tools and therapies. I have a proven track record of contributing to research projects that have resulted in multiple publications and patents. I also have expertise in parasitology and malacology, diagnosing parasitic infections and studying mollusk-borne diseases and their impact on public health. I hold a BS in Medical Laboratory Science from the Accra Technical University, where I graduated with honors.
