I managed a team of about 12 debt collectors. I hired, trained, punished, and rewarded them. Collections is a competitive business, I always kept my team in the top 3 and frequently held 1st place. I help the company move into a 1st place position out of a group of 12 companies for a national ranking by the US Department Of Education, we were the only new company in the contest. Before leaving the company I had personally trained 4 out of the top 10 collectors in the office.
