Frank entered real estate in 2008, taking over his family’s commercial portfolio. His father, a doctor, dreamed of building medical properties to not only ensure his own future but to serve the community where he and his family resided. His dream wasn’t fully realized as he was tragically murdered over a real estate transaction. By the time Frank became involved all profits had dwindled and he learned how detrimental mismanaged, over-leveraged assets could be. He decided to sell the portfolio and roll the proceeds into mix-use, multifamily properties in Brooklyn and Harlem. He not only acted but succeeded in turning disaster into financial gain, all while maintaining a full-time job. The jobs included working in the NYC restaurant scene with some of the most-exciting, and famous chefs in the Big City. He worked himself up from server…bartender…line cook — to manager and finally owner (running his own restaurant and bar for several years and paying off his investors in under 18months after opening). His success also meant 80-hour work weeks, which made him pivot to a new career as his wife was pregnant with their second child. Fortunately, the experiences he had witnessed steered him to a position (of selling) where he took up the position of selling wine with a national winedistributor. He took up the new challenge and within a short time became the company’s top salesman in the USA. Naturally, it was time to move on to the one thing he loved most of all — Real Estate. Since positioning himself where he can fully focus on real estate the momentum has really picked up. DamRo Assets currently has over 8 million in mix-use and multi-family properties. They are on track to acquire another 50 units over the next 18 months.
