My first five years in the automotive industry was spent in retail sales and leasing. During that time I read every sales book I could get my hands on and continued learning in my chosen career path. In 2009 I decided to begin learning the ins and outs of commercial/fleet sales. It was a worthwhile struggle as we didn't stock many commercial vehicles at the time. I learned how to keep my selling processes distinct from one another since retail car sales is completely different process than business to business sales.
