Hello from Mr. Frank Griffith. I am the Physical Plant Operations Supervisor at the Division of Community Corrections located in Lexington Kentucky. I oversee all operations associated with the 1300 bed capacity 450,000sf facility located at 600 Old Frankfort Circle.The facility is a state of the art correctional facility setting on 70 acres of land in the bluegrass state. Our building was designed to enhance the surrounding landscape.

  Monitor contracts. Recommend alternative measures to reduce operating cost. Price match purchases. Monitor budget. Compare work. Manage contracts. Recommend operating techniques. Analyze reports on equipment. Gather utilities information and recommend cost saving measures. Recommend energy loss measures involving equipment operations. Report finding to administration. I supervise project management responsibilities of others including monitoring contractor performance as it relates to contracts and corrects any deficiencies. I write and approve contracts and Request for Proposals (RFPs) yearly. Evaluates bids and the subcontractors ability to perform the work. I recommend alternative measures to reduce cost if bids submitted exceeds budgetary restraints. I authorize partial and/or final payment to contractors based on whether the specifications of the contract have been met. I manage and coordinate work schedules with outside contractors and managers. I Develop and monitor the divisional budget with overall goals and objectives outlined by the Division Director.
