As a factory responsible PSE I report directly to the Plant Manager & Engineering Manager and my responsibility was to initiate and take part in process safety optimization activities and thereby taking the Skensved Plant to at even higher level than today. Main responsibilities/tasks:Developing and maintaining process safety related hazard assessment and risk management including fire, explosion, toxic gas release, and chemical reactivity hazards.Developing and implementing systems, policies and procedures to establish a culture of risk based safety, i.e. process safety management standard EHS 215, EHS 230 (identification, assessment and prioritization of risks - OSHA).Provide expertise in the selection of safety critical equipment including containment venting and suppression, fire, and explosion protection and safety related alarms, interlocks and detections systems.Incident investigation with mitigating action and safety recommendations to the global management team.Develop and carry out process safety training programs to enhance the skill level in general. Conduct PHA/HAZOP workshop at the Skensved site to identify and mitigate any process risk.Secure communication to other EMEA locations to share best practices and key learnings from investigations and experience.Assure timely and accurate reporting to Global Management of data related to process safety performance.
