I work as the technical and projects manger leading a dynamic and vibrant teamin executing various solar projects.My responsibilities include:• Coordination of the technical team involved in solar PV projects• Approval of design, survey and technical reports for solar PV installations • Responsible for conducting survey and feasibility studies of client sites to assess customer needs concerning solar systems, familiarize with the existing systems and integration requirements. • Work with the sales team in development of proposals and solutions that meet the needs of reliability, scalability, and efficiency of solar PV systems• Engaging clients on technical presentation and proposals for PV projects. • Directed all phases of projects, from sales closure to handover of project to customer relations department.• • Set goals and objectives for each project and communicate to all the internal and external stakeholders involved.• Risk mitigation and Projects quality assurance of projects and ensure the organization remained profitable while the customer needs were met. • Project budget management evaluation and assessment of project's end product to customer and implemented the lessons learnt for it.

I am responsible for design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV and backup systems. I have experience in off-grid, grid-tie, and hybrid solar systems and registered with the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).I am also competent in installation and maintenance of single and three phase UPS systems ranging from small (500VA) to large (1000KVA) and respective battery banks. I also engage in design, integration, and servicing of UPS and battery backup solutions for residential, office, and data centers

I worked as an electrician for three months helping in maintenance of the plastics division plant; theinstallation of a new 500KVA generator plus design and connection of 500KVA changeover panel; maintenance of water piping (Design, fittings, and connections); and Motor repair and rewinding.

I worked as a part-time consultant with Alexandria Engineering Contractor, a new and upcoming company in Laikipia's thriving construction industry. I was mostly involved in preparation of tender documents and requirements, design and outline of construction works (electrical, mechanical and water works) and supervision of workers in construction sites.

I am currently learning useful skills by working in the tea industry which is at the heart of our country's agricultural sector. I am an intern in the engineering department and i am assisting in the running of the plant, maintenance, new installations and upgrade of the existing systems.

Involved in general electrical and control systems plant maintenance and repair. New can manufacturing line installation and testing. Generator, capacitor banks, and main compressor maintenance.

I worked in the design and construction department where we dealt with installation of new lines and projects( mostly lines from 11kv and 415v). I also worked with the energy plant department where we dealt with substation maintenance(33kv, 66kv, 132kv) high voltage line maintenance and transformer repair and maintenance in the area around Mt. Kenya (South) region.

I worked as an attache at the Kenafric confectionery complex. We were installing a new line and I was also involved in maintenance of the machines and all the electrical systems at the plant.
