After 14 years of operating FM Automation and Electric, I sold my assets to and joined the team at Elmore Electric. With Elmore I have great support from other technical staff and experienced marine electricians that know how to get the job done.

Our capabilities include product design, PLC and touch screen programming development, systems integration, control troubleshooting, project start up at sea or on site, project quotations and management.

Sailed on her for a couple months to make some money to start up FM Automation. Acted as Automation Manager for the factory control systems on this 700 foot Mother ship that follows the fishing vessels in the Bering Sea to process their catch.

I started as a Marine Electrician and soon found myself in a parts sales and a management position in the office. I continued to learn marine electrical systems and advanced to designing control panels and main electrical switchboards. In later years, I became the marine division manager with responsibilities including integrated control system testing, troubleshooting and at sea start-ups. I spent 3 months on a start-up in 1998 at sea in Russia on the Spanish built, Russian operated, super-trawler vessels Stimul and Suverenitet for newly installed Surimi processing systems that I designed and programmed.
