Frank Lindsey Email and Phone Number
I grew up in rural Kentucky. As a child I roamed the nearby woods exploring old paths, long since abandoned houses and the occasional cave (not always with permission). As a teenager I worked for the local farmers, hauling hay and working tobacco, both in cutting and roofing. For me, working for farmers was always available work in the summer which made it highly prized. Work could start at sunup and last past nightfall. I earned the nickname 'Werewolf' among my co-workers due to my work pace quickening as the moon came out. Truth be known, it was just my fear of working thirty feet up in the tobacco barns in the dark of night that quickened my pace.I fell in love with the experience of producing software in college. First professional job was in IBM 370 assembly language for the Treasury Department in Washington D.C. Later programmed in C for Raytheon Corporation then C++ and SQL for Lockheed Martin. After moving back to KY I programmed C# for Teledyne Tekmar and Makino in Mason OH. Following early retirement I decided I was just not ready to retire and wanted to enter Web Development, something I've long wanted to do but never had the time for. Joined Tech Elevator to quickly notch up my skill set in that area and re-enter professional life.

While my previous experience in C++ and C# lend themselves well to learning Java and Javascript I find myself having to study and grow to keep up with the new concepts of full stack development. -
