Led a team of 6 technologists within the Wells Functional Performance Team tasked with supporting the regional and central leadership teams to utilize well & business performance metrics to effectively manage 10 drilling rigs located in the Caspian Sea.

Part of a high priority Senior Drilling Engineering Projects Team brought to Azerbaijan to help improve field wide Drilling Performance to address partner and government concerns about delivering wells efficiently to maintain production rates. This team was tasked with reviewing ERD well design and operational practices considered to be contributing factors destabilizing sensitive mudstones in a complex PP/FG/WBS regime, thus increasing well complexity.

Primarily a wellsite advisory role providing pore pressure/fracture gradient prediction, leak-off test evaluation, hydraulics, hole cleaning, wellbore stability, drilling mechanics, drillstring vibration control and drilling performance. Significant drilling experience using rotary steerable tools in ERD, subsalt, and deepwater wells throughout the GoM and wells on the North Slope.

Radiation Supervisor qualified engineer. Responsible for managing crew & equipment for offshore Measurements and Logging While Drilling operations.

Provided retail financial planning and investment advice. Obtained Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, and Insurance Licenses.

Served as an in-house MWD/LWD Drilling Services Engineer for technical support in Amoco.

Assisted with fixed asset management, coordinated field tests, and resolved technical issues.

Responsible for managing radioactive logging source inventory, logging tools, tool calibration, and monitoring regulatory compliance. Field tested Vision475 Triple Combo logging tools.

Established an operating drilling fluids bioassay lab according to EPA protocol and trained lab personnel to perform the required duties.

Attended the in-house drilling fluids technology course. Assisted with the development of data base software in Staff Engineering; conducted drilling fluid bioassays in the Environment, Health and Safety Group; and tested production samples in the Quality Assurance Group.
