• Troubleshooting HVAC and refrigeration equipment maintenance problems to properly diagnose components to determine method and extent of repair necessary. Read, interpret, analyze and apply information in technical manuals and schematics• Document work orders, descriptions, parts and time in computerized maintenance management system• Call EMS to verify equipment operation and make corrections accordingly • Make sure that smoke alarms are operating properly and troubleshoot if any problem is found• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment according to standard schedules

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance as needed to ensure the ongoing functioning of refrigeration systems• Electrically/mechanically, diagnose and repair ice machines, kitchen appliances, walk in freezer and coolers• Detect/find leaks on lines• Install new equipment following proper procedure• Braze copper joints and test for leaks• New equipment startup• Adjust pressures controllers to the needed parameters to assure the equipment is running the way it was designed to run• Monitor Walk-in Freezers and Coolers operation• Respond to calls both during working hours and after working hours• Repair or replace defective components in equipment

• Weld sheet metal parts, pipes and other components to fabricate or repair product• Print interpretation and report discrepancy of prints to engineering• Fabricate steel frames to ship the machines• Perform sanitation welds using gas to purge the pipes• Repair broken or cracked parts as required • Set up equipment and weld parts according to welding chart specifications and type• Use of acetylene torch and plasma torch to cut metal• Use iron worker, roller, break, shear, drill press, band saw and other tools to fabricate parts• 8+ years running annual inventory for the company• Training new employees in blue print reading and tool usage.
