Obtained my Alabama Real Estate Sales License and formed Shepard Real Estate, LLC, working as a Sales and Leasing Agent. Work with buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants to broker primarily commercial real estate transactions. Consult with and advise clients through property search and selection, purchase and lease agreement contract creation and negotiation, and assist with due diligence. Work with municipal, county, and state departments, such as planning and zoning and ALDOT, to navigate clients through the transaction and assure the property is acceptable for their intended use. Utilize my network relationships with business leaders and owners, current and previous clients, and other community leaders, along with cold calling, attending networking and community events, and extensive property and market research to identify needs and opportunities. License has been held at Coastal Alabama Real Estate, LLC (March 2023 – June 2023), Cummings and Associates, Inc. (August 2021 – March 2023), and RE/MAX Signature Properties (February 2020 – August 2021).

Licensed in Alabama and focus on commercial real estate sales, representing sellers and buyers.

Maintained a community presence for Community Bank, building relationships and uncovering new business opportunities with current and potential customers. Assisted with loan originating, account creation, teller duties, and remote banking. Attended weekly Loan Committee meetings and monthly board meetings.

Originated mortgage loans for residential property purchases and refinances.

Recruited businesses to invest in the Eastern Shore Chamber through membership, advertising, and sponsorship opportunities. Developed relationships with new and existing members and focused on member retention. Oversaw the Ambassadors’ Program as well as the Young Professionals, which I also chaired. Assisted in the coordination and execution of monthly networking events and annual fundraiser events.
