After leaving school in year 10, my plumbing career begun. Over the years of my apprenticeship and beyond, I was able to work for three reputable plumbing companies and gained experience working in residential and industrial settings. I then moved into working on minor and major projects within Sydney Water Plumbing. Still wanting to expand my experience, I begun working at Smart Plumbing Solutions and engaged in working on Multi-level Commercial and Residential Projects in and around Sydney. At the age of 23, I gained the position of Site Foreman and successfully handed over numerous projects in this leadership role. With the support of management and my colleagues, I developed the skills and confidence to venture out on my own and in 2017, Profect Plumbing was established. Having the drive and determination to be my own boss and lead my own team has helped me to grow my company into what it is today. The journey started off slowly and I spent time between jobs meeting new people and making contacts with others in the building industry. As I started to gain momentum and completed one job to the next, what started out as a 'one man band' quickly grew to a team of 18 tradesmen and apprentices. I am now proud to say that I direct a professional business with a reliable and confident team. I strive for success and over the years have found loyalty and good working relationships to be the key.Being the director of this company comes with it's risks and challenges, but with the help and support of my brothers, Profect Plumbing continues to go from strength to strength with every project we complete. We are capable of taking on all types of work in Residential, Commercial and Industrial settings and have completed projects for Government Departments and Local Councils. Profect Plumbing has taught me not only how to run a successful business but to become a successful business person in myself.
