Manage Total Loss and Salvage associates in the on-going handling of total loss claims. Responsible for timeliness and accuracy of total loss settlements, as well as maximizing net returns on salvage.Job Responsibilities:*Monitors daily workflow of staff and ensures maximum productivity.*Monitors salvage cycle times, gross/net returns and ensures production at or above industry average.*Ensures compliance with state specific laws in regard to total loss and salvage handling.*Completes periodic file reviews on staff to monitor quality and adherence to best practices.*Monitors and reports Unit performance against established Metrics standards to Senior MD Management.*Works closely with the Senior MD Management in setting performance goals and best practices.*Prepares reports and documentation concerning departmental activities.*Participates in the establishment of department goals and for implementing procedures and performancestandards to achieve these goals.*Responsible for the employment, promotion, associate performance evaluation, training, motivation,counseling, and discipline of assigned associates.

-Developing claims representatives-Accounting for team results-Completing quality assurance reviews-Maintinaing office diary and authority reviews and provide feedback-Working closely with and training new representatives-Ensuring proper triage of claims -Improving individual adjuster performance-Handling complaint calls/service recovery-Contributing and participating in the performance management process-Focusing on key measures-Possessing and demonstrating technical claims competency-Calibrate file standards to corporate audit.

-Investigated, appraised, and settled both vehicle and personal injury claims. -Examined policies to determine coverage. -Interviewed, telephoned and corresponded with claimants and witnesses, reviewed police and hospital records and inspected property damage to determine the extent of liability.
