Striving to be the best, I led my store and its team to be among the best, ending FY 2012 in the top 2% of the company in overall performance. Sales aside, I maintained my store inventory meticulously to help the store achieve an all-time low shrink. Staffing a winning team did not come easy either, conducting several job fairs each year. By helping my team understand the value of great customer service, our store was selected as the Gold Standard Store for our region in FY 2013.All of these accolades were achieved on top of the ever-growing responsibilities of the position, as touched on below in my previous stint with GameStop.

I provided the highest level of service to customers in their homes and/or businesses. I installed and troubleshot PC and Home Theater Equipment all while offering exceptional customer service through presentation and education as well as in-home sales.I was provided with a company fleet vehicle for which I was responsible. I ensured the vehicle received proper maintenance by keeping in contact with GE Fleet Services. The vehicle inventory was also my responsibility, and I made sure to keep it fully stocked with tools and products to render the best solutions available to all my customers.Scheduling services also fell to me. When I did not have calls, I assisted the In-store PC Techs with their customers and contracts. I collaborated with store management to devise more effective means of generating in-home service sales and awareness. Prior to the company's dissolution, I was number one in my district in both sales and customer satisfaction.

The Product Flow Team was the workhorse of the store. Every member of the team was responsible for tagging and merchandising the entire store, replenishing merchandise on the sales floor, retrieving/loading customer orders, receiving/processing all shipments, conducting cycle counts for inventory control, and numerous other responsibilities.As a product flow specialist, I set the pace for my colleagues to ensure prompt service for both customers and coworkers. I helped keep the warehouse in proper order and was responsible for tagging merchandise on the floor. I often volunteered to execute merchandise resets and plan-o-grams.

I managed a video game retail store that also buys and sells pre-owned games, DVD's, and video game consoles and accessories. During my time as manager, I trained and supervised a winning team of associates to make our store one of the most successful in the region. On occasion I recruited, hired, and trained quality applicants to compliment our already strong sales/service team.Apart from managing the well-oiled machine, I also maintained store operations including but not limited to: scheduling, payroll, inventory control, store marketing, profit & loss. My store's Yearly Inventory was among the best in the district. We were consistently among the top three stores in sales performance and weekly compliance.

I provided thorough and helpful customer assistance with software and peripheral purchases and troubleshooting while consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.I maintained a clean and appealing sales area and kiosk and often researched new products to gain strong product knowledge in order to more effectively sell said products.

As a student assistant, I was responsible for maintaining serials (periodicals) section of the library. I reorganized bound volumes and microfilm to allow for up to ten years growth. I also delivered and retrieved library mail.

I earned commission selling products including but not limited to computers, cameras, peripherals and software. I maintained strong customer relationships with follow-up calls and thank-you cards.

I was responsible for training and overseeing four technicians in three states. I would also follow up on my technicians' installations to ensure quality installations of the two types of home alarm systems our company offered. To more efficiently execute proper installations tailored to our level of quality, I wrote installation instructions for our latest model systems. Lastly, apart from completing installations myself, I was responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of all equipment.

As a field engineer, I was travelling to customers' homes to install home security alarms and related equipment. After installation, I trained customers on proper use and maintenance of said equipment and also recommended and sold additional products onsite.
