US Energy provides several different services that go hand in hand with one another enabling a more efficient workflow for our customers. I guess you could say “it’s a one stop shop”. We have a sales and supply branch where we have a large inventory of items from tools, consumables, fittings, and gauges to 2” & 3” 1502 iron as well as other miscellaneous or requested items for your companies needs. We also have a rental department that supplies 2” 1502, 3” 1502, 3” 206, and 3” 1502 nace iron as well as equipment such as plug catchers, 5 & 9 valve manifolds, and sand traps. The third division of our company is the recert division. This division inspects, tests, repairs, rebuilds, and recertifies iron and equipment that needs to be tested or rebuilt after returning from jobs in the field as well as iron or equipment that is fixing to expire. Like I said, it’s pretty much a one stop shop where we try to make it convenient and easy for customers to get what they need in a timely manner in order to keep business rolling smoothly.

Frac assist jobs, flowback on drillouts, well test jobs, & monitoring production and lease equipment.

I was a flowback, well test, frac assist, and drillout operator here. My responsibilities included rig ups, rig downs, JSA's, field tickets, damage tickets, job operations in the field, reports, monitoring production equipment, and all other tasks associated with flowback and well testing.

I was a hydraulic choke, well test, flowback, and drillout operator while employed here. I was also a supervisor during my last two years with this company. I was responsible for ensuring the right equipment and personnel were on location on time, creating schedules for all personnel working in my field and deciding who worked on what jobs and what shift, communicating with consultants about job details prior to the jobs to prepare for the jobs and see that all the necessary equipment was loaded out and ready to go on time, and for ensuring that jobs were done properly with no incidents.

I started flowback and well testing with this company as a helper / operator trainee. I became junior operator after 8 months. I wanted to learn and I caught on fast. I worked mostly on high pressure gas wells for Encana doing jobs from start (frac) to finish (well test and production). I also worked on oil wells for Cabot, Southwestern, and a few smaller companies as well.

As a floorhand, it was my responsibility to guide tubing downhole, run tongs on the floor, keep my work area and tools clean, and grease equipment as needed.As a derrickhand, I was responsible for work above the rig floor, guiding tubing, picking up and laying down pipe on the catwalk, latching elevators when tripping tubing in the hole, standing back pipe while tripping pipe out of the hole . Along with that, I was also responsible for running the pump and pump maintenance during millouts, washouts, and fishing jobs.

I was a floor hand on drilling rig at this company. I was responsible for guiding drill pipe, tailing pipe during trips, setting slips, running pipe tongs, throwing chain anytime tongs were down, and changing drill bits while tripping pipe. It was also my job to wash and scrub the rig, clean and put up tools, assist the derrick hand with mixing sweeps and slugs, grease all fittings as needed and scheduled, and all other tasks associated with those of a drilling rig floor hand.

This was a rig moving company. My job duties were swamping for a forklift, rigging for a 100 ton crawler crane, and swamping for a 40 ton tandem / pole truck. My job duties here consisted of hooking and unhooking load lines from rig parts to trucks during the loading and unloading process while swamping for the tandem and forklift. I was trained in proper rigging techniques when I became a crane rigger. My job was to hook up the loads properly to ensure that the loads were secure and that the load was safe to lift. After loads were lifted, I would use a tag line to prevent them from swinging into any surrounding objects in the work area while flagging / instructing the crane operator on which way the load needed to maneuver.
