• Led an ETL team of 30 architects, tech leads and developers using DataStage and Ab Initio for the design and development of multiple data warehouses and marts. Facilitates data mapping and requirements definition meetings for the business and IT stakeholders. The source files originate from multiple legacy, mid-range and client server platforms to provide vital healthcare, risk and financial Big Data analytics. • Coordinated a joint business and IT team to successfully design, develop, test and implement a Human Resources Complex History Data Warehouse and Reporting Data Marts sourced from PeopleSoft. Also, integrated external data feeds to and from Kenexa and Towers Watson significantly enhancing Data Mining and HR Analytics Reporting. The new HR Dashboard replaced an outside vendor reporting tool that resulted in cost savings of $200,000 per year. This project was recognized for “Success in Aetna Information Systems” by the executive HR and IT committees.• Orchestrated a large team of ETL architects, tech leads and onshore/offshore developers to successfully implement a strategic data hub for an Affordable Care Act(ACA) data warehouse and marts compliant with federal law and government reporting requirements. This data hub framework was re-used in subsequent health reform projects. • Initiated, planned and facilitated Lunch and Learn sessions demonstrating our various data warehouse and reporting applications for the entire IT staff.• Recruited, developed and maintained a set of multiple high performing teams of ETL architects/tech leads and senior ETL designer/developers across multiple strategic projects• Actively participated as an Aetna Volunteer with the USO organization during the annual Fleet Week in New York City. The data feeds originated from multiple legacy and client server platforms to provide vital financial, risk and marketing reporting capabilities. • Directed the design, development, and implementation of GE Capital’s lease originations application. • Designed innovative user interface and table look-up features to streamline data entry that increased the number of deal fundings and bookings for GE customers.• Managed a $2 million budget and a team of 35 employees and consultants that enhanced multiple applications including originations, accounting, billing, and customer service for 10 business units across the US and Europe.• Worked with the business team to create a new method to group customer invoices, based on certain selection criteria, which improved the cash posting hit rate and reduced customer service calls.• Orchestrated MQ Series interfaces between the originations/accounting applications and the Siebel Sales/Service applications. Provided increased visibility and reporting to the Sales staff and enabled the prioritization of service requests that increased customer satisfaction ratings.
