I have been managing and leading the FNX creative team in the building and development of all original content from the channel’s conceptual stages in 2009 through its original launch in September of 2011, and I continue doing so in its present day status as a national broadcast entity. Over the last 5 years I have developed programming and content building partnerships with Native American Businesses, Indigenous Film Festivals and FNX affiliate channels including entities such as Native Max Magazine, the Festival International de Cine y Video Indigena (FICVI) Film Festival in Puebla Mexico, the Utah Education Network, Colorado Public Television, Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Communities Television (SRPMIC.TV), Cheyenne and Arapaho Television, Akwesasne Television, the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, Pechanga Band of Mission Indians, The Native American Veterans Association, The Chicago Urban Indian Center, The American Indian Association of Illinois, The Autry, The California Indian Center, The Southern California Tribal Chairman’s Association (SCTCA), The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Nation and The Sundance Film Institute. Though always active in the acquisition of programming, I took over full time management of FNX content acquisitions in 2013 and immediately developed an acquisitions model for FNX in line with those of PBS member stations, Public Television stations and educational broadcast entities across the country. This model is used to secure broadcast rights and streamline programming price ranges for completed projects and for projects that are at varied stages of development from pre to post production.
