I am a full-time instructor and I teach up to ten in-person and online lessons a day for adults and children. For adults, I teach using Berlitz custom educational materials such as the Berlitz English series, Business English series, as well as various other Berlitz series, and third-party educational materials. For children and teens, I teach using Mimi & Me, National Geographic Look & See, LOOK, Our World, Time Zones, and Impact. I prepare lessons customized for the student based on their learning needs and goals. I also teach out-service corporate lessons on business premises. As a mentor, I assist fellow teachers with their professional development. As a kids coordinator, I provide training and create workshops focused on improving child and teen lessons.

I taught children aged 1 to 3 years old in preschool classes and 3 to 12 years old in after school and Saturday classes. I was focused on helping children build a foundation in phonics, grammar, reading and writing through conversation practice, games and class activities. To help accomplish this I used circle time to help children master the months of the year, days of the week, seasons, weather, and other basic concepts to build the base for more advanced proficiency. I actively planned lessons based on the children's individual levels and attainment goals. I mastered the curriculum based on the National Geographic Welcome To Our World and Our World series, as well as Compass Publishing's Sounds Fun and Sounds Great phonics series.

I taught a Saturday kindergarten class of three to six year old children for four hours. The class focused on speaking, listening, reading and writing proficiency. In particular I prepared the students to take the JAPEC test. I also helped develop student abilities using the Tom & Alice instruction books and CDs. I kept a balance between whole-class instruction and working with the students individually according to their level. Games, songs and special activities were also used to provide an enjoyable atmosphere for the students.

As an English language instructor I worked with children ranging from three to twelve years old using Ocean Global Network's teaching system. I focused on developing the children's English speaking and listening skills, as well as developing phonics and writing proficiency. I integrated games into the lessons and overall made class time fun and educational. I traveled all around Aichi prefecture to various schools, with kindergarten lessons in the morning and eikaiwa lessons in the afternoon.

My primary responsibility was converting Internet leads on new and used Toyota models as well as other used makes and models into sales. Leads came from Toyota of Bedford’s web site, third party sites, and e-mail. I would call and e-mail these sales prospects, build client rapport, answer questions, and convert them into appointments. I then distributed these appointments among salespeople and followed up with both the salesperson and client to facilitate the purchase. Furthermore, I assisted the Internet sales manager in sales metrics tracking with custom Excel reports I built, created e-mail templates for new and used inventory and promotions, and trained new salespeople in the Internet sales process as well as using the CRM (customer relationship management) program Dealer Socket.

I utilized and expanded upon my face-to-face sales expertise consulting with clients interested in new and used Toyotas as well as other used makes and models. I developed product knowledge of Toyota vehicles through studying product literature, conducting test drives with clients and assisting with vehicle trade-in appraisals. I ranked number one in the dealership for setting appointments by leveraging my phone and e-mail communication skills. I followed up with clients after the initial purchase to ensure customer satisfaction and develop referrals. I purchased vehicles for Toyota of Bedford’s inventory from owners just looking to sell their vehicle.

I teamed with Intuitive Marketing Group’s CEO and fellow co-founder in managing day to day operations of client SEO (search engine optimization) and social media marketing strategies, as well as our company’s finances and growth. I frequently traveled to Chicago, Orlando, and San Francisco for trade shows targeting select industries and developed both face-to-face and phone sales skills. I recruited and trained independent contractors as digital marketing consultants.

During my time at Bank of America I focused on building sales and customer service skills as evidenced in my consistently exceeding phone sales bonus quotas for credit card products and money transfers. I became an expert at building customer rapport by providing individualized service such that the client knew they were appreciated. I assisted teammates struggling in meeting their sales quotas or customer service survey goals by providing best practices and additional training. I was selected to participate in the Associates-In-Motion (AIM) leadership development program for my efforts.
