• Advanced material manipulation of Low Melting Point Alloy sponge-based material, conducting analyses on the component’s electrical conductivity and stiffness attributes• Assisted development and upgrading of composite material, resulting in augmentation of electrical conductivity• Engineered shape memory polymer, facilitated controlled phase change transitions on composite smart material

Worked in the hangar on daily operations to advance the goals of the company. Assisted qualified mechanics to conduct repairs on small aircraft to make sure they were ready for flight.Created a database for the company in order for them to better understand the local industry and market. This created a better idea of how to they could stand out as well as how they could potentially appeal to a younger demographic. Presented ideas and potential solutions for the company to give them paths towards reaching out and connecting with younger people who may be interested in aviation. This was to help their mission of creating a new era of General Aviation enthusiasts and aviators.

As an Orientation Leader, my job is to welcome and be attentive to new students and their families. With this role on campus, one must realize that the polo never comes off. You have to be at your best and help others when they need it. We put our time into helping others so others can succeed and feel more comfortable and confident doing so. Some examples of what has been done are:Addressed concerns of incoming students and parents in groups and one-on-one about becoming adjusted to Syracuse University by providing them accurate explanations and resources.Corresponded with S.U. staff and student leaders to organize and host several events such as the Slice is Right, Small Groups, and Orange Blast for incoming students to get acquainted with other students and S.U. cultureConnected incoming students with relevant faculty and resources to reassure them of having a positive and constructive college experience while being able to get involved with activities on campus

As a team captain for the Burnt Hills high school rowing team, I have been able to establish a connection between rowers and coaches. The role involves solving problems between rowers or involving more technical problems such as working on the equipment at the boathouse.To create a stronger voice for the team and our community, I decided to initiate talks for more funding between the organization and the school district. By working with several board members in the rowing association, I was able to create a PowerPoint presentation for the school's board of education to create a better line of communication as well as reemphasize the importance of the team, its values, and its benefits to the school and the local community. This was also achieved in part by working with the superintendent to provide an optimal opportunity to speak in front of the board. To help rally the team and the rest of the organization, I worked with the other captains on the team to have rowers, past, present, and future, write a one-page paper to express their voice to the board. The meeting itself had many rowers and their parents, as well as the BHRA board members, attend in what was the "largest amount of people to show up to a board meeting". From this project, BHRA and the school district were able to reestablish and maintain efficient communication between one another, raised $5,000 for the BHRA budget given by the school, and created a foundation for creating a scholarship for rowers who cannot afford their memberships on their own. Because of this, I have been able to create a positive change in my community that will last a long time. I was recognized and awarded by the founder of BHRA the Founder's Award, only the second ever made, for the effort that was put into helping the organization. Syracuse University also recognized this by awarding me the Archbold-Day Scholarship which is given out to students who show proven strong leadership skills.
