I worked as the Union Organiser for both Monash University and Deakin University, advocating for union members through campaigns designed to address collective workplace issues and improve working conditions for staff. During this time I worked on countless campaigns including 4 Enterprise Bargaining rounds.

Provided strategic advice on HR to the Institute of Koori Education and helped to develop policies to increase Indigenous staffing numbers Deakin wide. To support this work I developed Deakin's first Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Strategy.

Provided advice, training and support to staff in utilising a number of different HR systems and databases (Peoplesoft, Pageup, Intelledox), providing datasets to both the University and external stakeholders and maintaining the Universities HR content on the web using Drupal.
