I am a Husband, Father, Realtor, Adjuster and Productivity CoachI moved to the District of Columbia in 1991 to assist my uncle as an appraiser in the Real Estate Appraisal industry. Within a year, as Vice President of O & A, Inc. our company grew from a one-man shop to a twelve-employee machine. In 1994, O & A, Inc. diversified into the Home Inspection industry and was known as the largest minority owned and operated Appraisal and Home Inspection Company in the region.Investing in real estate, I soon realized that the Real Estate sales side of the industry is where I was destined to be. In the summer of 2000, I started my Real Estate career by joining Re/Max 100 as a Buyer's Specialist for one of the top teams in the region. In the summer of 2003 I started my own team, Team Godfrey, and in May of 2004 I made the decision to take my talents to Keller Williams Preferred Properties.Our team over the years assisted hundreds of seller and buyers, from the first timers to the savvy investor, estates sales to pre-foreclosure, foreclosure prevention to post-foreclosure, working directly with REO departments for national banks and of course the sale and purchase of luxury homes.I have trained through seminars for Washington Urban Leagues buyer programs located in the District of Columbia dedicated to educating the first time home buyer to many other seminars including seminars I regionally provide for free for investors and home buyers.Out Team continues to assist hundreds of buyer, sellers and investors annually and has received numerous sales awards from Prince Georges County Association of Realtors and Keller Williams Realty.I have recently accepted the position of Productivity Coach in my market center where I get to coach individuals in developing the mindset and skills necessary to hit and surpass their goals to create the life styles they deserve and dream of. I am also a Texas Licensed Insurance Adjuster following the storms. I have been an adjuster since 2017 and only took a pause during the pandemic. I have done CAT claims following Hurricanes Irma and Michael and freeze claims in Texas following the big freeze. I also perform daily claims closer to home when not storm chasing.
