•Provided recommendations to the EVP of Marketing and VP of Category Management regarding (1) new strategies to increase sales of class rings (2) revisions to the digital journey to improve both online and offline sales, and (3) tactical promotional opportunities to activate student interest in class rings. •Conducted marketing research, including consumer surveys with national sample of over 500 students and parents regarding their attitudes and willingness to pay for class rings and depth interviews with over 100 students.•Completed secondary research using Mintel Reports, eMarketer, Statista, and other databases to profile current trends in the jewelry category and graduation gifting.•Developed customer journey maps for the digital journey for Herff Jones and their two leading competitors and provided recommendations to help Herff Jones deliver a best-in-class digital experience.• Identified external benchmarks for digital/online des-build functionality to provide models that Herff Jones could potentially pursue as they expand their digital presence.
