Having started my first business in 1982, as the proverbial one-man-band, I have since been instrumental in developing partnerships with clients and manufacturers; taking ideas from concept through R&D to delivery of the product or system and then providing after sales support. Bomb warning / emergency-communication systems and specialist alarms for specific terrorist-targets are a couple of areas where I have been instrumental in getting results. These achievements came about by building long-term business relationships, listening to clients requirements and providing lasting solutions.That first business is still very much part of my everyday life. It’s not unusual to be designing systems for the children of customers I worked for in those early years!The ethos is a simple one – ‘Every job breeds another job….. eventually’.Specialities: Designing systems which detect, then generate an alert. Finding people to employ who are good at their job then working hard to keep them happy.
