While studying at the University of Arizona, my focus was more on controlled environmental horticulture dealing with hydroponic farming and worked as a technician for the dendrochronology lab preparing cross sections of wood logs to be read by the anthropologist in charge of the project. The work I have been offered post college involves field work pertaining environmental biology mending such as species eradication, controlled burns, forest fire fighting, animal monitoring, animal trapping, plant and animal surveying, and pest management along with other experiences. As a sanitary survey team member, inspected the U.S. Army Ft. Huachuca public water system in accordance with AZ State and Federal regulatory requirements and guidance documents. Identified, recorded, and reported several deficiencies in the public water system, which improved overall potable water quality, fostered public health, and prevented notices of violations. I do work with ADEQ for the Waste Water Treatment plant by testing the influent and effluent levels to see if the operations are running well within environmental quality.
