• Carry out repair and installation works, and quality assurance review on completed PM activities of Refrigeration & HVAC district cooling systems. • Also operates and maintains (PM /CM) on high/low voltage, York, Clint heat pump, McQuay, Daikin, Carrier and Trane chiller plants, Air Handling Units (AHU), Variable Air Volume (VAV), Fan coil unit, ducted –type, pumps, motors, and package units, split and window units • HVAC systems troubleshooting.• Compressor overhauling • Control and modify conditions to suit individual preferences in the Building Management System (BMS) on the request of the occupants and at times upon the weather conditions. Also close work orders with the use of the CMMS on all completed assets • Responds to emergency calls and complaints about malfunctioning HVAC systems.• Perform other qualified duties as requested. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.• Ensure that all work performed or activities that occurred during the day are accurately documented. Also, perform other instructions by management.

• Site surveying, air conditioning heat- load calculation to get the required capacity needed for a building, site schematics drawing interpretation/AutoCAD.• Coordinates projects, site progress and any mechanical services related to technical meetings as directed by the project manager.• Diagnoses malfunctions of heating/air conditioning/refrigeration systems and/or components for the purpose of identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems.• Carrying out piping, installations works on Media MDV multi-split HVAC 3phase (8 to 56 horse power outdoor units, single or at times combined in series) and 1phase single system on a high erected buildings from ground to 7 floors or less with the following combination of indoor models and capacities: Cassette, Ceiling and Ducted-type, floor mounted type and high walls system. Capacities: 1.0hp, 2.0hp, 2.5hp, 3.0hp, 3.5hp and 4hp.• Perform other qualified duties as requested. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.• Performs Oxygen and Acetylene brazing works on copper pipes, elbows and Y-branch pipes respectively for an even distribution of refrigerant into all connected indoors units. With Nitrogen gas opened at a minimum (desirable) pressure into the lines while brazing to prevent carbon formation on the inner surface of the pipes.

• Carry out piping and installations works of Daikin VRV multi-split HVAC systems 3phase (8 to 56 horse power outdoor units on high risen buildings with the following combination of indoor models and capacities: Cassette, Ceiling and Ducted type, floor mounted type and high walls system. Capacities: 1.0hp, 2.0hp, 2.5hp, 3.0hp, 3.5hp and 4hp. • Responsible for carrying out HVACs wiring and piping circuit lay out at each assigned building constructional sites, tall and down ones, buildings meant to be rent for financial institutions (Banks), offices with 50 and above of occupants and Real Estate apartments for families. • Performs Oxygen and Acetylene brazing works on these types of copper pipes diameters which are mostly used: 6.3mm, 9.5mm, 12.7mm, 15.87mm, 19.0mm, 22.2mm, 25.4mm, 38mm, 28.57mm, etc. together with the refrigerant elbows and Y-branch pipes respectively for an even distribution of refrigerant into all connected indoors units. With Nitrogen gas opened at a minimum (desirable) pressure into the lines while brazing to prevent carbon formation on the inner surface of the pipes.• With the cabling we used 2.5mm of 3 or 4core cables for the indoor power supply connections and 0.75mm for looping all indoor units as a control cable linking to the outdoor unit, master and the slave. A 16mm cable is used to supply a three phase power to the outdoor unit not in loop form but each with its power though the control cable and piping circuit are looped.• Also responsible for dismantling and spraying unit with anti-rusted chemical paints those meant to be installed in the coastal areas of Ghana, the resorts beaches. Reassembled them and are sent to their respective resorts. This is done to enhance the life span of the unit due to the sea breeze.
