I am currently an Associate Director of Enforcement for the NCAA. Within Enforcement I am a part of the Basketball Development Group. I am charged with building, cultivating and maintaining relationships with various groups, individuals and organizations that are involved in college basketball. Those relationships can be in the pre enrollment space such as high school coaches associations to professional organizations like NBA teams and their coaches and scouts. The purpose of these relationships are to become a subject matter expert in all things college basketball. The goal is to develop information. This "currency" is used to establish enforceable cases against our member institutions and individuals that are trying to establish an advantage and create an unlevel playing field in recruiting, games, and academic progress. It also serves to protect those individuals and institutions that are operating by the rules. I have been with the NCAA since 2011. I also have 20 years of experience as an assistant basketball coach on the collegiate level. My duties included recruiting high profile student-athletes. I encouraged student-athletes to attend my university to continue their dream of major college basketball before hopefully embarking on a professional career. All while earning a degree. That experience also included academic mentoring, fund raising, public speaking on behalf of the university, community service, and budget implementation. My goal is to continue my career using the experiences I have gained either as a coach or in administration.
