As an experienced finance leader, I promote new ideas and implement lasting change across organizations. I am the Finance Director, and Secretary & Treasurer for the Americas at Xero. I drive the rolling forecast, budgeting and strategic planning process by identifying key business insights that impact our ability to deliver on our financial targets. My responsibilities extend beyond standard FP&A functions and includes long-range planning, building repeatable financial risk mitigation processes (i.e. deal process), leading 401k audit, influencing and managing benefits brokers, and most importantly, opining on capital deployment and GTM employee structure in the highest strategic priority markets. My team functions within the business to help drive profitable growth in a competitive and saturated North America Market.I have 15 years of finance experience (FP&A, strategic finance, auditing, corporate accounting, GTM finance, and pricing), 7 years managing high performing teams, a naturally high business acumen, and an ability to build unbreakable professional relationships. I am fortunate to have gained experience in various types of corporate entity structures, and have worked through a $2.6B public acquisition on the acquired side (data room lead, financial projection cuts, integration management office), and experience on the acquiring side as well. My financial modeling background expands beyond the status quo, and includes creating end to end revenue models, building top line financial projections utilized by start-ups (model utilized by founders to raise capital in excess of $1M), and creating long-range financial plans which supported Executive Teams and BOD 5 year investment decisions.
