Frank JoeSplatsin First Nation, British ColumbiaFrank Joe is a proud member of the Splatsin Indian Band, Secwepemc Nation, located along the Shuswap River near Enderby, BC. In the future he would like to return to his community and share his experience and inner drive to make positive change and strengthen the community’s economic development. In three years, he sees himself working with Splatsin First Nation’s Natural Resource Department.Frank has worked in forestry for 28 years, including with various forest consultants, forest licensees, and First Nations organizations. He specializes in harvest supervision, and his strengths include safety leadership, interpersonal skills, project management, budgeting, and a genuinely positive attitude.Learned some great hands on business skills from completion of the Ch’nook Aboriginal Management Program in 2016.In his spare time, Frank enjoys golf, travelling, hockey, and hot yoga. These activities give him the balance of mind, body, and spirit that he needs to achieve his goals.
