After founding and globally leading the CFO practice at BCG (9 years as Partner, 19 years altogether) and then joining McKinsey to push the CFO service line (4 years as Partner), I work now as an independent CFO Advisor to help building “The Future of Finance”. This can cover the overall role definition, strategy, organization, and processes, and it can include investor strategy, portfolio management, strategic/scenario/operative planning and (predictive) forecasting, KPI’s and value drivers, (digital) reporting, and incentive systems; everything with the opportunities “Digital Finance” can offer.Being independent, I have the privilege and luxury to work with ambitious CFO’s and their teams where I feel I can help to make a difference and create real impact. After finishing a one year training program I started to work as Hospice and Palliative Care volunteer at „Hospizdienst DaSein e.V.“ in March 2023:https://www.hospiz-da-sein.de/unsere-arbeit/hospizbegleitung/ In addition, I work on a voluntary basis for StartSocial e.V. which is a McKinsey-initiated nationwide competition in Germany to support social and non-profit organisations. I work as juror to help select 100 initiatives for 4-month consulting and coaching support, and after after that I work with one selected social initiative on their specific questions, challenges, and development needs. https://startsocial.deOn a private note: Karate black belt • Barefoot runner • Munich to Santiago de Compostella walker • Champagne drinker • Whisky afficionado • Coffee addict • Watch collector • Vespa cruiser • Harley rider • Loud on the bike singer • Tattoo fan • Zen meditator • Tarot cards reader • Polyamory/compersion/candaulism believer • On FIRE •

Juror And Coach For Selected Non-Profit OrganizationsStartsocial E.V. Jul 2023 - PresentHamburg, De"startsocial" is a nationwide competition in Germany aimed at promoting voluntary social commitment. Since 2001, the competition has been under the patronage of the respective Federal Chancellor. True to the motto "Help for Helpers," startsocial awards annually 100 four-month consulting scholarships and honors the 25 outstanding social initiatives. As a juror, I evaluate social initiatives, so that 100 initiatives can be selected. After the jury phase, I work with a co-coach and a selected initiative for four months on their specific questions, challenges, and development needs in strategic, structural, and functional areas. Recently I supported the initiative "momo hört zu e.V.", which is promoting a listening culture in Germany. In a mobile ZUHÖRRAUM ("listening room") they created a protected place of listening, where every story, joy, sorrow, and person is listened to. Trained listeners do not give advice; they listen without judgment. This has an astonishing positive impact on both the storytellers and the listeners. To bring this positive contribution more strongly into society, we developed a comprehensive volunteer concept, addressing the high interest of potential listeners. This includes selection, training, inauguration, deployment planning, and support through intervisions and supervisions. Statistical recordings and qualitative impact assessments have been implemented to quantify the effect of non-judgmental listening. More info: momohoertzu.de. UPDATE (4 June 2024): Momo was selected by the StartSocial jury as one of the Top 25 nationwide best social, charitable and non-profit organization! These organizations and their coaches were invited to Berlin and honored on June 4, 2024 by the sponsor, Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Main sponsors of startsocial are Allianz SE, Amazon Germany, Deutsche Bank AG, SAP Germany SE & Co. KG, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, and McKinsey & Company. To date, around 2,000 projects have been supported. -
Hospice And Palliative Care VolunteerHospiz Dasein München Feb 2022 - PresentHospiz- und Sterbebegleiter*in: https://www.hospiz-da-sein.de/unsere-arbeit/hospizbegleitung/The non-profit hospice service of “DaSein e.V.” is devoted to take care of seriously ill and dying people and to support and relieve their relatives at home and in inpatient care facilities. The purpose is to enable people to lead a dignified life to the very end. In order to achieve these goals, full-time doctors, palliative care specialists - from the fields of nursing and social work - work together with trained volunteer hospice helpers in various teams. Volunteer hospice helpers are an indispensable part of this overall offering. The qualified men and women who work on a voluntary basis take the time to talk to patients and their families, to be on guard around the clock and at night, for practical help, to read aloud or go for walks - all services that are often perceived as a significant relief and help.Vorbereitung zur ehrenamtlichen Tätigkeit als Hospiz- und Sterbebegleiter*in:https://www.hospiz-da-sein.de/bildungsangebote/hospizbegleiter-vorbereitung/ -
