Negotiated with a multinational tenant a new 20-year lease worth $70 million.• Managing a pandemic — Without students on campus for 1½ years, many employees had to go on unemployment, and other employees worked fewer hours for less pay. I gave up half of my own salary for a year. Despite their sacrifices, only a handful of employees left.• Student evaluations — Even during a pandemic that severely limited their opportunities, over 86% of Fall 2022 students rated their overall experience as “excellent” or “good.”
