About Frank Toth

I studied electrical engineering at UCLA, and pursued my interests in acting. I interned at Space Systmes Loral in the summers of 1997 thru 1999 as a Power Systems Engineer and started to work in Communications Systems Engineering Organization in 2000. From 2000-2002 in Communication Systems I participated in the successful design of a Digital Audio Radio Service Satellite for Japan and Korea called MBSAT (similar to Sirius/XM Satellite radio) and also worked on a broadband internet satellite called Wildblue. I took an opportunity with Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA in 2002 to work on next generation NASA Weather Satellites and to study Comm Systems Engineering at USC. I participated in the successful testing/launch ops of NASA's Earth Observatory Satellite (EOS-Aura)In 2004 I participated in the preparation for the Critical Design Review for the AEHF satellite. In 2005 I graduated with my Master's at USC. From 2006 to 2008 I worked on the next generation NASA/DoD Weather Satellite called NPOESS which combined military DMSP and civilian POES satellite capabilities on one satellite. The last 10 years, I worked at SSL working the front end designs of various High Throughput internet and Fixed Satellite Service Satellites.
