I secured a work placement with The fresh Group through my university. During my placement I gained the following skills and attributes.- Understanding and creating suitable briefs for small and large scale projects- Liaising with suppliers- Client management - Project management of small projects - Budget management of small projects- Assistance and support on large scale projects - Management of elements of large scale projects - Day to day management of experiential style events- Liaising with studio on design and artwork projects and seeing this through to completion- Time management - On sight presence of management and assistance of event from rig, live, to de-rig- Logistics planning on large scale roadshows- Assistance on press style events and product launches

I secured a position on a temporary basis to work as an events manager assistant at JD Williams, My role included;, designing marketing material for their future events, coordinating attendance numbers and staging events which involved liaising with event entertainment, room setup, table layouts, decoration and menu choices. From this experience I have utilized the use of Abode Photoshop to produce sponsorship packages for clients and company invites. I am proficient in Microsoft Office skills; I have had the opportunity to attend business meetings and was involved in meetings with new contractors to negotiate contract terms.

I was a Showkeeper based at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina for a summer work placement. Duties included: cleaning and tidying of guest areas, creating ‘magical moments’ for guests, providing high standards of customer service and being sure to adhere to the requirements necessary to portray the Disney image at all times.Having worked for the Walt Disney Company at a Vacation Club Resort I am fully aware of the responsibility and influence that the staff have in ensuring the success of these events and in encouraging the clients’ wish to return on a regular basis.
