Elara is a designer, marketer and producer of high quality gloves (poly, vinyl, latex, synthetic, nitrile), food storage bags, plastic cutlery, drinking straws and other single-use items used by restaurant and institutional foodservice operators. Since Elara’s products are used to prepare, store and consume food, providing support for people at risk of going hungry is a natural extension of the business. Elara’s signature program- One Case/One Meal- provides support to local food banks for each case of product sold.

Led all Manufacturing, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Quality Control activities. Accountable for FDA, NSF, ASTM and U.S. Customs regulatory compliance. Guided Global sourcing activity locating, developing and managing new partners as well as maintaining positive existing vendor relationships. Routinely traveled overseas ensuring factories met strict compliance to product quality standards and safe and sanitary environments. Developed and managed corporate policies and processes for resolving and minimizing customer product complaints.
