About Fraser Maxwell
I'm the Nature team leader for Arup's North and North West & Yorkshire geography, within the Climate and Sustainability Services team. The team is ~30 specialists involved in renewable energy projects (on/offshore wind, pumped storage hydro, hydrogen), biodiversity net gain, natural capital assessments, data centres, biodiversity strategies, and urban/built environment projects. I'm based in Arup's Edinburgh office with staff in Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast offices, and increasingly the team are working in Ireland. Please get in touch with any queries that me or my team can help with across anything related to nature, ecology and biodiversity.I'm also an experienced EIA coordinator and environment project manager, and have both ecology and EIA public inquiry experience.I'm highly experienced in working in multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, architects, landscape architects and other specialists, on large and complex schemes, and enjoy trying to solve the challenges that arise, delivering high quality service and leading a motivated and focused team of Arup staff.I completed the Arup University / University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership Masters Module.
