An enhanced role within the CASS Office.Responsible for CASS advisory function, supporting internal and external clients. This enterprise wide function provides oversight and approval of CASS related processes and change, development and maintenance of CASS training programmes and materials, and input to root cause assessments of CASS impacting incidents.Overall responsibility for CASS Governance and Reporting, administering key CASS Governance committees and provision of reporting to Board level.Secretary of the Client Asset Committee reporting to the Board on enterprise wide CASS assurance and issues. Advisory member of the Enterprise wide CASS Root Cause Analysis Committee reporting to the Client Assets Committee.

Reporting to the Director of the Client Finance Division, responsible for assessing and reviewing the impact of all regulatory change, including FCA (with a focus on CASS) and CBI (with a focus on IMR) in respect of Divisional processes, ensuring that existing systems & controls are managed in accordance with those regulations. Additional input is provided at a corporate level, via in-depth involvement in IFDS’s Client Asset Governance Framework, and at an industry level, via engagement with TA Forum and various TISA forums. As a department, T&RC have a wide ranging brief, which includes responsibility for – • Review & agree implementation of change in respect of regulatory developments impacting the division, especially in connection with Client Assets• Conducting regular internal monitoring of existing processes & controls, to identify weaknesses and areas for improvements• Representing the Division at prospective new business meetings & attendance at internal / external workshops to provide input to proposed system developments in respect of all regulatory developments• Representing IFDS and the Division at industry forums - including the TA Forum Client Assets subcommittee and both TISA’s Client Assets Technical and Best Practice Committees• Providing consultancy services to the Division’s Senior Management Team in respect of Compliance matters and point of escalation for intricate CASS queries from both internal and external clients• Representing the Division at internal Client Asset committees• Enhancing the Division’s risk & control framework• Regular client contact from attending audit meetings with compliance specialists, facilitating CASS overview workshops for clients and service reviews with client relationship managers• Liaison with Risk & Compliance on regulatory & control issues• Liaison with Learning & Development to ensure that Divisional & company wide training programmes meet both regulatory & practical requirements
