My time at George Brown College in the Financial Planning Certificate Program provided me with a solid foundation of the six financial planning components: financial management, asset management, risk management, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning. This demanding workload has sharpened my ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.I have always had a passion for teaching and being able to explain an idea in a way that anyone can understand. This is what led me to obtain my Bachelors of Education from Brock University. Throughout this program I learned problem solving and team work skills that I have utilized both in the classroom, as well as in my current work environment. This degree has enhanced my communication, planning, and relationship building skills to be able to tackle any problem.During my Honours degree at Brock University in the Mathematics program I gained valuable knowledge of the many different aspects of Mathematics. I learned the theories of calculus and differential equations, the abstract ideas of algebra, and the applications of statistics. These skills that I have gained have made me an abstract and critical thinker, one who loves problem solving and will never back down from a challenge.
