Datacom is an Outsource Service Provider (OSP) that managed the customer contact operations for Microsoft. The Microsoft Partner Network provides three types of memberships. Each type provides a set of benefits to help a business grow. In my role, I was responsible for handling Microsoft Partner enquiries (with regards to partner benefits, competencies etc.) and I was a point of contact for partner related escalations. I also had the privilege of being a part of the Microsoft Action Pack approving body, locally. Action Pack is an affordable yearly subscription to software, support, and benefits for businesses that want to begin, build, and grow their Microsoft practice. My responsibility was to evaluate application which involved assessing organisations, before the final approval.
