CurrentFred Baker is the founder and CEO of Baker Group International, LLC, an international consulting firm for Middle Eastern, Asian and American trade partnerships. Hard metals trade and processing in Central Asia have defined BGI's core activities since 2002. In 2007, Energy Elements, a specialty oil for developing power generation, joined BGI's Central Asian trade activity. Fred Baker is also the founder and Board Chair of Baker Installations, Inc. Baker Installations technicians service over 20,000 consumer homes and businesses every week. Solving Installation Problems in the 'First 100 Feet' of broadband technology spanning decades-long relationships with blue chip clients has established Baker Installations' service as a benchmark standard for cable television customers for 33 years.Inc. Magazine awarded Baker Installations the "Inc. 500" Award for "Fastest Growing Privately Owned, Companies" in both 1984 and 1985; the 1999 Arthur Andersen "Best Practices" Award for Motivating and Retaining Employees; and in year 2000, runner up for Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Pittsburgh.Fred attended Mississippi State University. He has studied with The Strategic Coach program in Chicago since 1996 to organize and define intellectual property and work flow systems for greater value and efficiency. As a certified Model-Netics Instructor with Main Event Management Corporation Fred has taught 15 class courses to over 200 executives and managers since 1994. Model-Netics is a comprehensive management development program composed of 151 management models that function as guides to thought and action.Fred and Beth celebrate 43 years of marriage this year. They are the parents of eight children and thirteen grandchildren. Their social and recreational time centers on family, church, travel and business activities. Leisure time pursuits are travel photography, reading, television, skiing, golf and road and single track mountain biking.
