• Area covered: Highway 12 Uxbridge west to Kitchener – Lake Huron north to Thunder Bay• Responsible for the management of 35 seed dealers and achieving market growth share• Dealer management involves travelling with dealers in their respective area, cold calling, trouble shooting, and sales training• Involved in the planting, harvesting of test plots, collecting data for analysis from head office• Recruitment and training of new dealers for certain un-serviced areas• Report production issues and weather concerns to head office• Involved in representing Quality Seeds at Trade Shows, such as Canadian Dairy Expo, Ottawa Farm Show, London Farm Show, New Liskeard Farm Show, Grey-Bruce Farmer’s Week, and Simcoe Agriculture Days, along with Soils and Crops functions and other smaller events

• 40 Cow Dairy herd• Achieved two Master Breeder’s Awards• Breeder of Number 1 LPI bulls and cows in the breed• Breed international show cattle• Represented Dairy Farmers of Bruce County, sitting on the County milk committee for 18 years (holding all positions)• Instrumental in the development of Return over Feed Program developed by Ontario DHIA

• Member of the Bruce County 4-H Council and acting as Chair for two years

• Responsible for the collection and tabulation of data and presentation at monthly meetings

• Dairy Inspector for the R.O.P. program – Record of Performance.
